			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hello Fellow Paddlers,</p>
<p>We are Serratus Personal Training and proud first time participants in this year’s FMG’s Manitoba Dragon Boat Festival. Our two boats, <em>Serratus on the Water 1</em> &amp; 2 look forward to competing against you and most of all working together to raise funds to support Cancer Care and the Children’s Hospital to help kids with cancer.</p>
<p>We all want to do our best come competition weekend, so now is the time to begin preparing our bodies. It is important to begin training now so we are able to put ‘our best paddle forward’. Conditioning now will not only improve your paddling ability but decreases the risk of injury, gets you working as a team, and heck, maybe even drop a pound or two in the process.</p>
<p><strong>We would like to offer ‘paddling specific’ bootcamp and circuit style training classes starting in April &#8211; September. </strong>All exercises would be geared towards upper body conditioning and endurance, rotational core exercises and leg power. We will also discuss injury prevention and good nutritional habits now and for the weekend of the race. All of our trainers are university educated, and we have an athletic therapist on staff who can work on current injuries.</p>
<p>Please contact us at serratus10@gmail.com if you are interested as an individual or as a team to sign up for classes. We will begin setting up a schedule of classes in the mornings, evenings and weekends shortly as interest is shown.</p>

<p>We continue to employ university educated trainers that have a thirst for knowledge and continue to share their passion with their clients. Our team now stands six strong, ranging from pre/post-natal fitness training to rehabilitation through our athletic therapist. </p>
<p>We are continuing to upgrade our skills and decipher the ever-changing field of health and wellness&#8230; all with the goal of providing our clients with the most current, effective, and efficient way to improve their well-being. </p>
